Thanks to the locals in towns like Wiluna, Meekatharra, Leonora and Margaret River for their enthusiasm and interest in the Goldfields Celebration.
Our Desert Communities Tour has been very effective and we’ve had some great concerts and Sing-a-longs in remote regions in the lead up to the big event with Will Graham, or as they call him in the bush ‘Willy Graham’.
It was a real joy to visit Michael and Noleen Mongoo and their family who helped organise a concert at the Royal Mail Hotel. They were very much involved in the Crossing Australia campaign in 2016 after the tragic loss of their son Ashley and have stayed in touch ever since. Thanks also to Digby, Imuna and Johann for making up a great team!
