Many years ago during a time of great conflict between warring Aboriginal tribes this symbolic white Cross was erected on a high place in the desert country. It was built by Christian Aboriginals as a reminder to all who pass of Christ’s sacrifice on the Cross which brings forgiveness, healing, hope and everlasting life. This Cross was placed in the middle of Mulga tree country, a tree which has helped to sustain life for Aboriginal peoples for thousands of years. If you want to start a good fire you use Mulga as it will burn all night and keep you warm. Just like Jesus it will keep you till the sun shines again in the morning. Pray with us that the Goldfield’s Celebration with Will Graham will start a revival fire in the desert country again.
