FAITH FOR UNFAMILIAR TIMES

You have searched me, Lord, and you know me. You know when I sit and when I rise; you perceive my thoughts from afar. You discern my going out and my lying down; you are familiar with all my ways. Before a word is on my tongue you, Lord, know it completely. You hem me in behind and before, and you lay your hand upon me. Such knowledge is too wonderful for me, too lofty for me to attain.
— Psalm 139:1-6

2020 will go down as a year like we have never known before in our lifetime. For every one of us. The plans, dreams and expectations we had at the beginning of the year have either been deleted or put into some kind of unpredictable holding pattern.

Don’t ever let the difficult times destroy you, let them define you. These past months have been tough in so many ways and yet filled with God’s miraculous intervention and presence. My encouragement to you is to keep your heart and focus on the Lord and His leading. Don’t be distracted by negative news and the fear that has polluted the planet. God is bigger than that. He knows us for who we are and that is a wonderful knowledge to hold on to.

Thanks so much for your ongoing friendship and support.

Godspeed,
Steve
