The Lord is my light and my salvation.. Whom shall I fear? The Lord is the stronghold of my life.. of whom shall I be afraid?

We all face storms in our lives. Seasons where our circumstances can be crushing to the soul.. whether its relationship struggles, health challenges or financial hardships.. they can all look like the fearful intimidation of an oncoming storm. None of us like conflict, or the fear of being condemned or the confusion of uncertainty.. not knowing what the immediate future holds. We’d rather run and hide than face the storm front on. But with God’s help we can do just that. One of the keys is to remain sweet and not become bitter. Even when Jesus was confronted by Judas and a large crowd armed with swords and clubs, sent by the chief priests and elders ( Matthew 26:47-50) He still chose to call Judas his friend. He remained sweet in such a defining moment knowing what was before Him, the greatest storm of His life on earth. His death on the Cross as a condemned criminal. Three days later everything would change.. for Eternity.

I remain confident of this; I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Wait for the Lord; Be strong and take heart and wait for the Lord.
— Psalms 27: 13-14

Run to the storm.. not away from it. The Lord is with you. Thanks for your love and support.

Godspeed,
Steve
