The God of second chances The LORD said to Moses, “Chisel out two stone tablets like the first ones, and I will write on them the words that were on the first tablets, which you broke. Exodus 34:1 Even during the process of presenting the people of Israel with 10 basic instructions God was placed in a position where He had to show grace and mercy. Moses only had to turn his back for a few weeks as he sought the Lords guidance up on Mt Sinai for the people he was leading to turn back to sin and idolatry. to turn from a life of miracles to absolute madness and mayhem!! As he returned from the solitude of the high places with two beautifully carved stone tablets his immediate shock and disgust caused him to smash them on the rocks as he saw his people in their multitudes worshiping a god they had made from gold. Do Something That Brings Life When you don’t know what to do in life…. do something that brings life. Get out there and find people less fortunate than yourself and help them. That is one simple principle that I believe can only bring about good. When you have no vision…. find someone with a vision and serve them. As you serve, God will reveal more of His purposes and plans to you. But if you sit around feeling sorry for yourself you will become bored and depressed.
